Geography and planning

The Bachelor's degree in Geography and Urban Planning and the CMI Sigit are supervised by some twenty research professors; the courses also call on outside professionals to make students aware of the challenges of urban planning. These courses are supported by the Théma research laboratory.

History - History IEP course - CMI ENPAJ

The history degree provides a historical culture from Antiquity to the present day, and allows students to follow courses in other disciplines: geography and art history. The IEP program allows students to prepare for the IEP entrance exam in the best possible conditions. The CMi ENPAJ trains students in research related to publishing.

Language Sciences - Automatic Language Processing

Language Sciences seek to understand and describe the activity of language through the study of languages in their diversity. They are also interested in language acquisition, language learning and teaching, the social uses of communication practices, and the circulation of discourse in social life.

Modern Literature - Classical Literature (LLCA: Languages, Literatures and Cultures of Antiquity)

The humanities are more than ever indispensable for thinking about our world and responding to the major political, economic, social and cultural issues with which we are confronted. They must allow us to analyze human exchanges in linguistic terms and to understand the stakes of all forms of discourse (literary, media...)

Performing Arts DEUST Theatre - Musicology - Licence Pro METI (Exhibition and Information Technology)

These courses, some of which are rare in France and internationally, offer an apprenticeship in the performing arts, theater, stage and music with an emphasis on multidisciplinarity.

Philosophy

The Licence de philosophie offers a complete training in 3 years. From the first to the third year, you will be able to approach the history of philosophy, the great questions of general philosophy, with a more marked orientation towards social philosophy or practical philosophy, which is the trademark of our department.

Psychology

The aim of the "Human and Social Sciences" degree in psychology is to give a large number of students access to a higher qualification (master's degree), while at the same time opening up a certain number of them to perspectives other than that of becoming a psychologist. The curriculum is therefore punctuated by different moments of choice that favour the orientation of students at the end of the first year (towards other SHS mentions), at the end of the second year (towards professional licenses), and at the end of the third year towards ESPE masters.

Sociology

The Bachelor of Sociology with progressive specialization aims to train students from general and professional baccalaureates to master university methods (writing, bibliography, reading and analysis of texts, etc.), social science reasoning, and the appropriation of theoretical and methodological knowledge in the social sciences, particularly in sociology and anthropology. This degree can be a means of preparing for entry into other training programs such as schools of social work or to prepare for public service recruitment exams. It is above all a gateway to a master's degree, which is considered a real possibility for professional integration.
